BIRDING BY T
Every year birders put countless miles on their vehicles chasing after birds. In the extreme, 10's of thousands of miles can be put on a car if the birder is after a "Big Year", but even a birder with only a mild addiction will find themselves in the car chasing this exotic goose here and that eurasion variety of falcon there. Even a weekly trip to Plum Island can rack up the miles. Now with gas prices and global temperatures rising - birders are looking for alternatives.
I hope that this guide can serve as a directory for those that are looking for birds, and don't want drive or want some exercise to boot!
